This is the Taras x MJ Keenan collaboration, though I don’t know how involved he is in the production these days. Has a splash of Gewurz in the mix. One barrel made. Or 606 bottles filled.
Raspberry, spice, a hit of rosy and musky perfume. Medium-bodied, fleshy and fruity, red berries with a slight gooseberry tang, silky paperbark tannin, quite some spice weaved through, and an almost Barolo-like aftertaste, with a cherry and subtle amaro tang. Possibly better without the GT, but then it wouldn’t be the same. Personality and interest. Give it a little longer in bottle, I’d suggest, though certainly attractive now. - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
