Ischia Sapori Rucolino Amaro

A volcanic island in the Tyrrhenian Sea roughly 30km our of Naples, Ischia is sounded by sea and is known for great weather and green tufa, green volcanic rock which is very fertile, oak, Cyprus, almond, citrus, and olive trees as well as wine grapes grown with gusto. Made from large leaf wild grown rocket (rucola), citrus, herbs and roots, like all good amaro, Ischia Sapori Rucolino recipe is a closely guarded secrete. Although a dark amaro Rucolino shows bright, light notes of citrus with a pleasant bitterness herbaceousness. Drink cold or over nice with a citrus garnish.
