This cider came into being thanks to a coupla horses. Percheron horses in fact. Estelle Mulkowsky, owner of the Percheron horses, works in the wine industry helping vignerons till the soil and harvest grapes. Somewhere along the way she met Les Capriades owner Pascal Potaire and they got talking ancient abandoned orchards. Unable to let good fruit go to waste, especially traditional pear varieties like carési, crasseau rouge, and poire de loup; Estelle organised the harvest then Pascal crushed, fermented and bottled. The result is an ample textured cider with zero additions, ideal to start or finish a meal.
