La Haine Pet Nat 2019

Regular price $30.00
Who can forget that DJing in the projects scene in the epic French flick of the same name of this wine? What a movie. I said the same in a previous review. Here’s an Italian grape fizz from Heathcote from Pyren. I assume off the Chalmers vineyard. It gushed on opening some what and we lost a glass to the angels/devils. This is a fizzy wine, unsure of method but assume pet nat.
Strong mulberry, sweet earthy scents. Rollicking out of the glass. Creamy texture reminiscent of Lambrusco or similar. Light, big bubble fizz. Gently sweet, ripe berries, finishes a bit short, a little more acidity wouldn’t go astray, but the wine is yummy, fun and fresh-ish feeling with lots of pleasure at hand. Nicely done. - The Wine Front
