Guamarjos! Cheers! Let's talk supra. One of the longest standing traditions, next to winemaking coming out of Georgia. It's a communal gathering like no other. A night of one thousands cheers and speeches, soundscapes from a polyphonic choir, huge platters of food for feasting, raucous laughter and bloody good times. Yes, we're putting one on with our good friend and leading Georgian wine expert/importer Tim Stock. Our take on supra promises to be a wicked fun night steeped in a millennia of tradition and cultural practices. We're talking about feasting and drinking Georgian style - which has never been done in Sydney like this until now. Tim will talk you through the wines, Georgian history and the culture around supra. P&V head coaches Mike Bennie and Lou Dowling will keep the vibe high and P&V Paddo chef extraordinaire, Wesley Cooper-Jones, is putting his spin on traditional Georgian fare - so, you know, wear your stretchy pants. Like, really, it'll just be a mother-flippin' good time so get around it.
Drink up Georgian wines. Eat all the food. Cheers with your mates. Watch out Sydney Biennale – we coming. 60 spots only.
