This is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, mostly, and cabernet franc, from two vineyards in McLaren Vale. Blend of ferments are fine tuned to create something more symphonic. Young gun winemaker of Denmark origin throwing his veil over South Australia.
Choc-berry scents, light though in a way, violets, bay leaf and brined olives too. Slurpy texture, creamy almost but for the crisp acidity and bright leafy-herbal notes underlying. Lovely ribbons of thick, dark chocolate-minty tannins and excellent length. Delicious thing we have here. - Mike Bennie, Wine Front
