Based in Chateauneuf du Pape, Philippe Bravay focuses on traditional practices and grape varieties to share the story this special part of the world. Mistral is an energetic blend of grenache, cinsault and syrah, that is hard to ignore. Supple yet cut with bright acidity, lots of perfume, this crispness that feels delicious at room temp but makes the palate go buckwild with a light chill. Upmarket stuff, but frisky too. It seems to marry all things righteous in its style. And an antithesis to stuffy Rhone reds.
