Trousseau from the famed Les Corvées parcel, with vines aged between 20-45 years old. The soils here are gravel on marl. De-stemmed, then placed in a tank inerted with CO2, Gentle maceration for 30 days in tank. Aged in old 3,000L foudre for 18 months.
Intoxicating bright aromas of red roses, cherries, spice, and warm soil with a savoury meaty element too. It caresses the tongue like taut cherry-red silk. On the heavier side of medium bodied, fine grained tannins and bright strawberry acidity balance with the dark mineral finish. This will get you thinking.
