The unusual Sardinian grape variety sciacarello is on song here. Done light a fragile, pure, light red. This has crunch and crackle, juiciness but also tartness; it smells like cranberries and gin botanicals (without the booze) and watermelon and cherry. It tastes delicious, tense, taut and shaped with ultra fine tannins. Acidity is so bright it could power a darkroom. Such a delicious, fine-boned and compelling red.
