Darryl Rathjen farms friendly, sustainably and 'regenerative farming' with sheep and vineyard. It sees barrel fermentation (natural) and topped and stirred for about six months.
Heady scents of cumquat marmalade, vanilla, candied citrus. Come hither stuff. Slippery texture with just a lick of creamy oatmeal in the mix, saline acidity pulsing through that puffy texture and a starburst of lemony-limey freshness to finish. Has weight, texture and full flavour but retains personality too. - Mike Bennie, The Winefront
