From Quealy, the husband and wife (Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy) duo who pretty much introduced the concept of orange winemaking to Australia. This sees an incredible array of grapes, traditional varieties from the Italian wine region of Friuli (a bastion of orange wine) and some more classic ones, but the sum of the parts is quite incredible, making this a deeply complex, fascinating, wild, wildly delicious orange wine. It sees significant skin fermentation in amphora to produce heaps of perfume, loads of chewy, chalky texture and incredibly vibrant, refreshing fruit character.
