Raizu was created by Cinzia Pelazza, whose name may be familiar to the Barolo nerds out there. Cinzia and her husband Eugenio are from La Morra, Piedmont but always loved spending time in Sardinia's north east. Vermentino, semidano and nuragus grape varieties, local gear from Sicily. Spends about two weeks on skins in stainless steel. Vibrant and ultra-refreshing expression of orange wine, has good skinsy pucker and dryness but forges ahead with saline-charged minerally tangerine scents.
