Read Renner Sistas! Susanne and Stephanie are slowly taking over their parent's vineyard (which they've run since 1988), with their first cuvees back in 2015. Burgenland is an amazing Austrian region for winemaking, with different types of soils and a lovely continental climate. Working only with indigenous varieties, Susanne and Stephanie blended sweigelt, St Laurent, rosler and blaufrankisch for this little number. Short maceration, direct press, all fermented separately then blended before bottling to give a light and crunchy smasher, raspberries and fennel pot pourri. It's fun, it's made to drink without thinking too much, coz who likes overthinking anyway?!
