Little Reddie New! Leanganook Pinot Grigio 2023
Complexity and freshness are very well balanced. Very intense citrus perfume, lemon trees, windfall oranges and lilies, lemon tart and cut apples. It’s a very aromatic glass of wine. The palate is quite dry, a subtle grip frames crunchy pears with bright lemony acidity, an earthy slightly curdy quality is quite varietal in a ‘northern’ sense. Sort out some picked eggplant quick sticks! - says our mate Pat!
aller trop loin Trippy Rabbit 2021
On the twelfth day of skin contact my true love pressed this wine. From a 25-year-old sauvignon blanc vineyard. Yarra.
Turbo charges sauvignon blanc characters, loaded with passionfruit, pineapple, asparagus and white pepper, scents and flavours similar. Tactile hot peppery to taste, jalapeno kind of vibe, a juiciness too, a refreshing, fresh finish amongst all that. It’s obvious, big and bold in its way, eye-opening intensity, but some like it like that. - The Wine Front
Wicked Wild Amber #1 2021
Grapes come from the Eden Valley. A big portion of this wine was fermented on skins in terracotta amphorae. Notes of sandalwood, ginger, lemon tea and a delightful, underlying minerality. This is a seriously good orange wine, oooh yeahhh. And though chewy and a touch wild, there's a lightness and a freshness here too. Right on!
Wizard Piss III Orange 2022
Wizard's Piss is the brainchild of Sam Leyshon from Mallaluka in Yass, NSW with the original wine one that stood out from Sam’s usual roster of wines and labelled for its more alternative styling. And this release the Wizard's have worked their magic and multiplied. With three cracking wines now in the line up......the only thing you have to do is choose!!
Brave New Wine Rude Boy 2021
Crunchy juicy red/white blend for chilling in the fridge and drinking just about anywhere!
Ochota Barrels Rack Juice 2023
Made especially for us by the legends at Ochota Barrels. An unfined, unfiltered blend of more than 15 varieties of both reds and whites. Cloudy, bright purple, full of punchy fruit. A really special wine that makes magic from the sum of its many parts. Sorta heavy rose, kinda light red, is that some white fruit fruitiness in there? Dunno, do we seek more than pleasure here? It's such a great thing that this special wine hits our shelves from our beloved Ochota family. It's all bouncy and bright under this intriguing flinty/minerally, smoked spice character, such a tasty, tasty and wildly drinkable wine. We drink it well chilled, and often, and insist you do the same! Does great with a bit of time open to let it see the universe! Bottoms up!
