Made by Monks Semillon 2019
Tasmanian semillon? Say what?! Yes. Scintillating white of lemony tang, light chamomile characters, tart acidity and generally setting a blistering pace for freshness and refreshment factor. It’s a summery white that dials in that beautiful ‘saline/sea spray’ thing that feels oh so delicious too. A white for guzzling with gusto. - The Wine Front
Garage Project Feast Of Paradise I 2018
Your invitation to a moving feast of three Organic Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs designed to showcase the impact of different winemaking techniques on a classic Kiwi style.
Like any good feast, towards the end, things can get a little wild.
For starters, a cleaner, classic take on Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, with hand picked, whole bunch fruit pressed into barrel and stainless steel and wild fermented. - Garage Project
Good Intentions Gris Diddly Dee! 2019
A house hold favourite. Pinot gris grown on limestone and flint. The gris is de-stemmed and left on its skins for its primary fermentation (approx 3 weeks) where it is pressed directly to old French oak.
Barrels of pinot noir rosé from our organically farmed volcanic soils are blended before bottling and left to get to know each other for a couple of months. Left for over 12 months before it’s released.
The gris gives it a savoury, saline, chalky feel with a smash of acidic pomegranate in your mouth; the Pinot provides the fruit driven aspect red berries with the aggression and grit of the volcanic soils. This is a morish wine you keep coming back to the glass for. - Good Intentions Wine Co.
Fallow Pompette Sangiovese 2018
Sangiovese grown in Gruyere at Killara Estate. 80/20 destemmed/wholebunch. Basket pressed after ten days to one single old oak barrel for 18-months. No additions and the name means tipsy in French. Drink me straight off the shelf or straight outta the fridge - the enjoyment knows no bounds!
Chouette Suzy Rouge Grenache 2020
From an excellent vineyard in the much-maligned, often-overlooked but wonderful wine region of Swan Valley on the outskirts of Perth. Old vines, ruddy soils, warmth and old school winemakers aplenty. This from a younger generation winemaker with a great grasp on making brilliant natural wines. Juicy then crunchy to finish, this is a thirst-quenching red of great vitality. Cherry-fresh. Cranberry tang. Spice. So easy to drink but with so much interest. Can drink cold too.
