P&V Session Joven 2020
Screw tasting notes. It's made by Blind Corner, the colour is a chilled red, it's some sort of blend and my glass seems to have a hole in it....
Les Fruits Gonzo 2020
Always one of winemaker Tim Stock's freshest and most exhilarating red wines, bright and fragrant, crunchy textured, just a few grades up the evolutionary scale from rose and right on the money for the words 'light fresh red'. We love this take on cinsault and grenache. Les Fruits is such a rising star.
Gonzaldo Grijalba Gran Cerdo Tempranillo 2019
Look, we can fill your minds with fancy chat about how this bright, juicy, gluggable tempranillo made in concrete tanks and from happy vineyards, but really, the chat here is about how the wine is built for annihilating with pizza, made for smashing out of tumblers in your backyard while setting fire to things, glugging with a chill with your pants off on mid week Couch Island retreats. You get the deal. Insane drinkability.
Domaine de Cros Lo Sang del Pais 2018
A beautiful French Marcillac wine, a dark purple red colour with notes of bramble fruits, a mineral texture and a warming spice on the finish.
Mas Que Vinos Los Conejos Malditos Tempranillo 2018
Los Conejos Malditos is 100% Cencibel (Tempranillo), bright plummy, red currents and black cherries. Yum City.
Continental Platter Shiraz 2020
Yarra Valley wine from Puncheon Bottles team in Victoria. Juicy, just shy of medium weight, nice dose of peppery spice, green herb, web of fine, lacy tannins. Vibrant, thirst-quenching shiraz, if that is a thing. This is delightful drinking and though exuberant, sits well as a shy-ish style of wine. I like it. - The Wine Front
