2018 Muraje Lasu Rosso
Has a dried rose petal, faintly gamey perfume with whiffs of sour cherry and just ripe raspberry. Very attractive. Succulent texture, pure feeling, spicy as can be, peppery almost, very fresh feeling and super pure, exceptional texture and weight with length to burn. Superb wine, so delicious and delicate, and satisfying. - The Wine Front
2013 Monchiero Barolo Rocche di Castiglione Riserva
Ripe cherry, spice, liquorice root, new leather, dried herb and roses. Medium weight, so much cherry, but savoury and laced with black tea and sage, layers of suede-like tannin, juicy well integrated tangerine acidity, clean lines and a svelte and very long finish. Needs air if opening now, but the potential is huge.- The Wine Front
2016 Guido Platinetti Ghemme Ronco al Maso
Sweet red cherry and raspberry, alpine herbs and pepper, freshly pulled root vegetables and old cellar. It’s medium-bodied, cherry and earth, a dusty trail of almost peppery tannin, crisp cranberry acidity, and a long spicy finish, some liquorice and mint too. Impressive. Should age beautifully. - The Wine Front
