Yetti & the Kokonut Metro Savagnin 2021
Tropical, nutty, saline and fresh fun from the boys. Year after year they do not disappoint with their deft use of the Jura grape. Fill ya cup to the brim!
Chateau Comme Ci Comme Ca Vin Blanc 2021
My wines have & always will be made from 100% grapes, nothing added & nothing taken away. Farmed organically & hopefully in the near future all of our vineyards will be certified organic.
2021 was a very fun vintage, plenty of grapes of exceptional quality. A more mild summer than previous years which allowed us the to hone in on our picking times. As the fourth year of Chateau Comme Ci Comme Ça this year felt focussed and intentional. Wine making decisions where made with a sense of grounded direction.
Whole bunch chardonnay pressed, fermented in fibre glass, racked, settled for a month and bottled. - Aaron Fenwick, winemaker
Bistro Louis Severine Flatline 2019
A project from Louis Broderick (Basket Range Wines, Adelaide Hills) and international superstar wine director Sev Perru (10 Bells, NYC et al). They got some cabernet sauvignon and played with it a few different ways, here in the form of a direct pressed ‘white wine’. Sharp edges, mad angles, flinty minerality, sour plums, quite citrusy, surprisingly and a back drop of blueberry fruitiness barely there. Lovely scents and flavours. A drawl of light, nutty savouriness edges in too, the finish that attractive, mouth-watering saltiness I like so much. Has some get up and go, high drinkability, lots of interest. Delicious, detailed wine. Kudos! - The Wine Front
Jean Bouteille Due Paradiso 2021
JB is a ripper human who knows his way around fermenting and growing things, shifted to the Adelaide Hills and surrounds, works alongside Tom Shobbrook and Anton van Klopper and pals, immersed in a technicolour world of winemaking and thinking. Then he released some of his own wines…
Organically grown syrah from the Adelaide Hills. Vines rooted on gorgeous rolling hills overlooking McLaren Vale. A Dame Jeanne of viognier from an abandoned vineyard next to Ashbourne was added during the week long carbonic maceration to plump up the aromatic & deepen the colour. Foot-stomped three days prior to pressing and stored in French barriques for seven months.- JB
Basket Range Wine Red 2021
This wine is blend of petit verdot (30%), pinot noir (30%), merlot (10%) all from our vineyard; with chardonnay from Piccadilly Valley (15%) and syrah from Mylor in the Adelaide Hills (15%).
The red varieties in this wine underwent light maceration with a proportion of whole bunches. The wine has brighter acid, red fruits and fine tannin. The varieties complement each other well to make a light red. - The Broderick's
