Lobo Norman Cloudy Cider
LOBO Norman is a small batch cider, made in a more European style - we make it using our traditional English cider apple varieties, apples with names like Kingston Black, Dabinett, Yarlington Mill. We sometimes use some carefully selected edible crab apples, and have been known to use an apple called the Winter Banana! Pink Ladies and Golden Delicious make it in sometimes as well. The cider apples bring tannin and structure, along with more complex apple and almost spicy flavours.
It's a delicious food cider - try with roast pork, lots of different cheeses, but it's just as good by itself!
Norman is a wolf from Lenswood. - Lobo Cider
Mallaluka Sauvignon Blanc Pet Nat 2020
This is a good vibe. Sam Leyshon doesn't always do a pet nat but when he does, it's waaaay good. Thanks Sam. This is a bolder, savoury style, lots of nutty-salty characters, texture, a good deal of creamy fizz, mousse-like texture and a starburst of lemony tang through all of it. Refreshing and intriguing at once. Proper stuff. It's delicious.
Jauma 1000 Fires 2020
Named in honour of the great Austrian social architect, painter and dreamer Hundertwasser (100 waters). A 50/50 blend of muscat and chenin. Fun enough to be juice, textured enough to sit at any dining table. What a ripper. - James Erskine, Jauma
Shobbrook Wines Rose 2019
This little rose is made from almost 100 year old vines. We made a Sherry from this vineyard three years before bottling. The Sherry was made without the use of spirit but via natural evaporation. The rose was dosed with 2% Sherry prior to bottling to help fill out the back pallet and give a very exciting structure. Not your average rose but something I love to drink during the heat of Summer. - Tommy Shobbrook
Cre Pinot Noir 2020
A new addition to the Cre selection. Pinot Noir grown in Tibooburra vineyard, near Gembrook and Hoddles Crreek in the upper Yarra. Fermented as 50% whole bunch and 50% destemmed, followed by gentle foot treading and eight days skin contact. Aged in old oak and no additions.
Scintilla Shiraz 2019
Dry-grown pre-colonial clone Shiraz from the hilltop of McLaren Vales's Clarendon. Picked early in yet another very hot year to keep the fruit bright and fresh. Then the fruits is open top fermented with 25% whole bunches for 2 weeks. This vineyard no matter how much I feel the urge to coerce towards vibrant and playful it alway expresses itself by the earth. Flinty, stoney, minerals. – James, Scintilla Wines
