There's only one major drawback to Bruno Duchêne's wines: there's never enough to go around. Farmed organically across the low-yielding 4 hectares of dry, steep and schist-packed slopes that impart such wild character into his wines. Grenache with a smidge of carignan thrown in. Funky barnyard situation, almost rotten in that moreish, complex and strangely delicious kinda way. Red cherry jam, violets, red frogs, anise, all tied together by a spritzy acidity that spells NATURAL WINE.
