James Erskine's wines have such a distinct personality and mouthfeel. Full-flavoured, slinky and slippery, Birdsey is his cabernet franc. Roasted green capsicums, leaves, twigs, branches and a bit of a minty sting. Still, there's a super lifted feel and high energy to the whole thing, it just slides down the gullet. Savoury and extremely delicious stuff.
