Sangiovese from two different sites in the Adelaide Hills. Carbonic macerated and off to large format wooden barrels.
Succulent and serious sangiovese though the freshness speaks of things more playful. So lifted, floral, spicy. A web of fine, lacy tannins sets a bedrock for sour cherry, woody spice, cut-lip blood and peppery-earthy finish. Lots of architecture and plenty of deliciousness. A triumph. - The Wine Front
