Georgia's most well-known red variety, saperavi, handled by one of the nation's brightest producers. Deeply coloured and structured, yet nimble and sassy all at once. Abundant and forward palate of juicy dark fruits – cassis, black cherry – high acidity and softish tannins. Savoury, woody spice and olive brine hang in the background. Edgy, interesting stuff. Makes sweet music with cheese and charcuterie.
