Emilie and Alexis Porteret’s wines are all about hardcore biodynamic farming and plenty of patient, meticulous attention to detail in the cellar. The soils amongst their four-ish hectares of land are all characterised by the Jura’s distinct mix of clay and limestone. This is very lightly macerated pinot noir, hazy and blushy, at once mature and incredibly fresh thanks to a hearty whack of acidity. Fine-boned, featherweight and delicate as all get out, this is crispness and drinkability in spades. Magnifique!
