50/50 blend of shiraz and cab sauv from the southern end of Heathcoate. Mostly fermented in stainless steel, with a tad in used oak, some oxidative treatment too. Malolactic fermentation has added a somewhat creamier, more soured tropical feel to this otherwise savoury red berry equation. A generous charge of acidity carries it all. Bare feet and picnic rug at the ready.
