The Binner family is in the wine since 1770 so you can assume that they know what they're doing in terms of winemaking. Audrey and Christian are working their old vines (60 to 100 years old) biodynamically and are all about purity and letting the Alsacian terroir speak through their wine.
This wine is a blend of 35% pinot gris and 65% gewurztraminer, so you can imagine the aromatics are off the charts. We're talking rose petals, turkish delights and ginger. There's so much going on! 60% of this lot is actually the blend from the 2015 vintage kept on skins for 8 months, blended with the 2016 vintage macerated for 8 days, hence the lovely texture on this wine but also the fresh finish.
