Two weeks on skins, plus plenty of time in barrel and bottle sees this semillon throwing out a treasure trove of complexity. It's a wild-eyed, umami-fuelled journey that somehow still finds structure and progression - definitely one for the eccentric oenophile of the group. Nashi pear, lemon rind wax and herbaceous notes dart around with fresh acid keeping it zinging. Whoa.
Just like his sauvignon blanc, there's no SO2 here either.
