I think people forget that 'Mouton' is sheep, which always tickles me a little re Mouton-Rothschild. This is not mutton dressed up as lamb, however, though it is pretty fat.
Almost a Chardonnay-like flavour and weight here, but with a little something else. It's rich and creamy (in context of appellation), with sea shells, peach and pear, maybe even some banana, yet excellent freshness with that weight, but wait! It’s really good. Something different. Something delightful. We drank the bottle while watching series 3 of Ozark on Netflix (for context). – Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
