A blend of savagnin and chardonnay from the Fin Wines Finyard (yes!). Organic farming underpins the site, this is a no addition, zero sulphur wine too.
It’s zesty and tart, green herb/grassy characters meet green bean and snowpea with faint saline minerality in the mix. At the alcohol this is picked it doesn’t give the varieties much chance to flex their awesomeness, nor do a Jurassic interpretation of the regional blends there – it’s picked for speed of drinking and light, bright, vin de soif kinda vibes, though in that the greenery is evident. Not all natty wine needs to be sub 11.5%, would be the sophists point. Anyways, here a really pleasing, very well priced, refreshing white wine with a good edginess. - The Wine Front
