Up in the Tortona Hills lies the mixed agriculture farm that is home to La Morella. Grape vines share land with fruit trees, aromatic herbs, wheat and other crops, with farm animals scattered throughout the property. Organic since the mid-80s, this is a unique and tranquil part of Piedmont to grow grapes and make wine. This cortese is tangy, lightly herbal, ultra refreshing and strong in minerally character. It’s vivacious, thirst-quenching and yet shows a good deal of texture and detail. We love it.
