Martin Texier is a very cool guy. An accomplished DJ, he spent time in New York in the music and wine industries before heading back to France to begin making wines (like dad Eric Texier) in 2014. Since then he has made astounding wines from a tiny, 5 hectares of organically grown grapes in the Rhone Valley.
An opulent, soft and gentle wine here. 100% roussanne planted on limestone soil in Brezeme, this wine is balanced and elegant. If this wine was a music genre it'd be smooth house.
Pairs well with a lunch time vongole.
