The grape varieties are obeidi and sauvignon blanc and the wine comes from Lebanon and from organic farmed vines. They're fermented on their skins. Yes! Natural wine of Lebanon. A thing! Not your typical origins but we’re into it. The wine producers of Bekaa Valley came about after being forced out of marijuana growing and looked to an alternate agriculture - truth! The wine: textural, bright, shiny, chewy, savoury. Feels super fresh too. Tonic water with slices of apple and cucumber in it, some nuttiness in the mix. It's one of those summery feeling whites with a little more substance and texture, and this one is 'very unfiltered'. Loving it.
