James Madden is one of these beautiful human beings who you just have to say hi to, and look at his smile, and straight away your day seems better. Before moving to the Basket Range, James was a som in Melbourne. But like many others, nature was calling so he finally said f*** it to the city life and hi to vines and dirt.
James has a soft spot for Verdelho and Savagnin, so it's not surprising to see him playing around with these grapes varieties. Here Verdelho embraces Chardonnay beautifully. The wine is full body, without being oily. Verdelho carries enough acidity to lift the wine up, and finish on a lovely saline note. Great wine with food, or without.
