“I liked it so much as a still wine I bottled it off instead of making it all into a fizz [blended with other varieties]”. From Chalmers Vineyard in Heathcote. It spends three days on skins, hangs out in old oak. Nice fella, Tim Ward.
Pretty golden colour. Floral notes, dried flowers and fresh lilies, lime in tonic water, a bit of nutty savouriness. Savoury to taste too, nutty, a little white balsamic tangy but refreshing in that way, some nuttiness to finish, more of the tonic water sweet-bitterness going on. A little wild, a good zesty feel, nice to drink. - The Wine Front
