Green Grocer is the perfect name for this herbaceous (and dare we say almost alpine) number. If the dusty greenness of the Australian summer had a smell, this would be pretty darn close to it. Fresh citrus notes explode from Lemon Myrtle, Bush Lemon Peel and charred Green Grapefruit leading into the intense green herbaceousness of Native Thyme and Rosemary which is nicely balanced with the addition of Pepperberry, Sandlewood and Ironbark for a spicy earthiness.
Named after the Green Grocer Cicada, one of the most common insects found in the Sydney area presiding in trees and is one of the loudest insects in the world.
Easily served as a ‘G&T’ and lime with your preferred tonic or use the Green Grocer to pep up your virgin Mojito. Alternately as ALTD Spirits like to drink it as a twist on a Margarita.
