Merlot from the Southern Highlands – lots of whole bunches. Pressed after a few weeks and matured in old oak.
Hearty scents of ripe plum, sweet earth, light brambly character, a whiff of clove and dark chocolate. Juicy in the palate, soft and sumptuous but light on its feet, fresh with amaro-like acidity, finishing crisp and bright relatively fast, though a light berry fruit sour-sweetness does follow on. - The Wine Front
