Gippsland chardonnay. Richly flavoured despite its low-ish alcohol.
Pure and long. It takes time to unfurl in the glass but once it’s had time to breathe it really gets its skates on. Melon, white peach, toast and saline characters merge into toasty/honeysuckle-like territory. Much going on. Highly textural despite its racy disposition. More than a little swagger too.
