Rich, savoury red of medium weight, fine grip and general sense of vitality. Redolent of dark berries, char and pot pourri with faint game meat notes wafting around. The palate is brighter than expected from that sweet earthy hit of perfume, lifted on blood orange acidity and cinched with a web of fine and firming, feathery tannins.
