What a great name for a wine! Chardy from a vineyard in the Grampians, pressed to oak with full solids, lees stirred and full malolactic fermentation. In non-wine speak, this is a richer style of chardonnay, with big hits of peach, white grapefruit, lemon curd and buttered toast. There’s sprightly acidity, a faintly oxidative edge and a smooth texture to round it out. Chardy party, indeed!
