Catherine Riss Empreinte Pinot Noir 2023

Organically farmed and gently pressed pinot from one of Alsace's cult heroes. Whole-cluster maceration lends a bit of texture to the exquisite purity of fruit here, cherries mostly with an undercurrent of spice and the gentle tug of tannin on the finish. So much finesse, so much to like.
