Champagne Louis Barthelemy Zero Dosage Topaz NV

This blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier definitely has the piercing, racy acidity expected of any great zero dosage Champagne, but it also brings balance to the fore, with extended time on lees bringing some nutty, toasty roundness to the mid palate. Crunchy apple, citrus and stone fruit are there in abundance, further amplifying the richer side of things, but with the finish it all comes back to that tight, bright, structural acidity. Delightful stuff
