Need a new hobby? Out of Friday night options? Well, we've teamed up with Clay at Home and you can now purchase a kit from us and join one of their resident ceramicists to learn how to create your very own ceramic vessel. Best part, you can do it all from the the comfort of your own kitchen table or picnic blanket. (Pssst... You can even add a magnum of rose, a gimlet or a bottle of fizz, if you feel like getting really crafty.)
You’ll be sent a clay kit (this pack has enough clay and tools for ONE person to make ‘TWO things’), access to instructional videos and cheat sheets. But, if you want to get more interactive, you can tune in to Clay Sydney LIVE at 7.30pm every Friday night during lockdown.
In this first pack, you'll explore the fantastic world of hand building. Time to create your very own mug, planter, vase, or something else entirely - the world is your oyster.
Your Clay Kit includes:
- Clay and tools - couriered directly to your door. This kit is enough for ‘TWO THINGS’
- Cheat sheets - helpful illustrations and how-tos to get you on your way
- Instructional videos - with the lovely Clay Sydney tutors
- Firing of your pieces once they're finished, or help finding a local kiln. AFTER LOCKDOWN, simply drop it off at the Clay Sydney Victoria Road Studio, Marrickville, or if you’re out of area, the Pottery Pals around Australia can help you for a small fee. Too easy.
