Quite the punchy rosé, made from the obscure and elusive tibouren grape, almost elevates itself into light red despite the very pale colour. Chewy tannins, licks of nougat and clove spice, red cherry, but fine, dry flavours, good length, good refreshment factor. Caroline is produced in barrique, fermented and aged. One third is new oak. Serious as. Elegance is a good word here, too. Incredible wine to savour and spend time on.
