Chardonnay forms the base of this wine, though it ends up clear garnet coloured, with gris, shiraz and grenache also in the mix (and a few other things).
Scents of rose water, pepper, green herbs, sea spray. Crisp and crunchy to taste, strawberry and raspberry tang, light but vigorous bubbles, fine, fresh finish. It’s seriously good drinking here, you wouldn’t say complex but there’s a fair bit going on as it stands. Unreal drinking. - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
