Kaleidoscopic blend of 70% sangiovese, 15% sagrantino and 15% montepulciano from fifty year old vines bedded deep in clay and gravel. The wine is aged for three years in stainless steel and an additional four to twelve months in bottle before release. Mouthwatering blood orange acidity combines with red berries, dark earth and dusty dried rose petals. This has an electrical undercurrent of volcanic stones with sour cherry and liquorice tannin tugging at your tongue. Vibrant, pure, dark and deep.
