A robust Spanish red, bolder in flavour, fleshier in texture, definitively fresh but delivering a bit more oomph and chew than some of the wines of vogue from Spain (in natural wine circles anyway). All organic vines are the baseline (of course), the winemaking gentle but offering a flex of tempranillo’s more lush side. Here’s cherry cola, here’s mulberry fruit, here’s sweet spice, here’s a lick of dark chocolate. A good one for the unseasonable cooler nights, let’s say. And delicious.
