From the Upper Yarra and a small, lovingly grown vineyard. It’s a pure and yet gently savoury expression of sauvignon blanc that really elevates the variety and veers away from the more overt sauvignon characters - think stone fruits, green almond, green mango over passionfruit and cut grass. Some herbal elements work their way into the wine, but subdued and mellow with a mesh of that nuttiness going on. Texture is fine, lightly juicy and finishes in a twist of talc-like minerally pucker. Very good.
