Derrumbes Mezcal Zacatecas

Derrumbes Zacatecas Mezcal is made 100% Tequilana Weber agave, known as Blue or azul agave, in the village of Huitzila, Zacatecas by the Bañuelos family. Using all traditional methods of pitt roasted, tahona milled and fermented naturally with wild yeast in stainless steel this mezcal is truly a walk back in time. Nutty and earthy on the nose opens up to a light smoke and pine wood. Light and sweetly floral, cooked agave is prominent on a pallet followed by rosewater, smoked citrus and a green grass kiss. A slightly higher ABV brings warmth to this beautiful sipper.
