Hold on to your hats, we've got a wild one here! Sunbury marsanne grown by the Humis family in Sunbury and made into wine by brothers Tim and Lawrence Scanlon. The 2020 vintage had 3 weeks skin contact, in their words "really brutal maceration, 3 times a day we bashed it around, like a taxi rank line in the Fortitude Valley". Then aged in oak and tank. There is a great balance of zipline acidity and plush fruit here, with a dollop of tannin to get your teeth into.
