Dirty Black Denim Morning Reserve Syrah 2017
Regular price $37.00
From a good plot of wines comes a small batch (less than 30 dozen, I believe) wine from an enigmatic and quixotic wine producer of Victoria.
This is tangy and vibrant, more tonic than wine in some respects, sloshes into the palate with sharp angles yet a juiciness follows, there’s wild scents of mint, fennel, dark cherry, sour cherry, balsamic vinegar. All this sounds chaotic, but the sum of it all equals a lighter weight wine of moreish charm and an edgy nature that sits well in my broad spectrum of wines. Don’t expect fancy, expect a fringe dweller, but one with compelling, abstract feel and freshness. - The Wine Front
